Q – Hello how are you today?
A – Great, thank you. I’m currently planning a fun filled weekend of craft, vintage and shopping!
Q- What is your favourite piece from Stolen Thunder’s current collection?
A – I’ve always had a soft spot for the wooden pieces, I love the ‘pardon my French’ necklace, saying that there is something about the golden snail that really makes me smile.
Q- What outfit would you style up using Stolen Thunder Jewellery? (Stolen Thunder jewellery / clothing / shoes etc!)
A – I would use the girl balloon brooch to add interest to a plain cardigan. Now winter has rolled around I seem to be living in thick knits and layers!
Q – What do you most enjoy about blogging?
A – Having somewhere to “dump” all the shopping related thoughts that float around in my head is great but the very best thing is getting comments and chatting to people who have similar interests. I have met some of the nicest people through blogging and made friends for life.
Q – If you could choose anyone, past or present to blog, who would it be?
A – It would without a doubt be Amy Winehouse to me she was a true icon in so many respects she brought the rockabilly vibe back into fashion she was never afraid to stand out and she oozed talent, style, and charisma.
Q – What is currently your favourite cosmetic/make up product and why?
A – At the moment I’d have to say it is a Lipstick by bargain brand 17. It’s called ‘New Black’ and is a deep red/plum shade, the perfect berry tone for the winter months with a hint of the gothic.
Q- What has been your best clothing/jewellery purchase in the last 6 months?
A – I’d have to say a scarf I picked up from work, it was a true charity shop bargain and alot of people have complimented me on it since.
Q – In your free time, what do you most enjoy doing?
A – Shopping – the obvious answer, but when I can’t afford that I love reading, watching crime documentaries and painting my nails.
Q – What is the best piece of fashion advice you have received?
A – It’s all about experimenting, the fashion “rules” don’t work for everyone, fashion is about trying things out and seeing what works for you.
Q – What do you think is the best thing(s) about your hometown and why?
A – It’s pretty clear that I have a ton of Blackpool pride, I love that I come from a place with a history full of showgirls, scandal and tradition. I swear if you cut me open I would have blackpool running straight through me like a giant piece of rock.
Q – Send us a picture from your day –
A – This is my cat called Joey. He could quite possibly be the world’s most spoilt cat because my mum wait on him hand and foot, she refers to him as her other child and so much so her friends introduce me as ‘Joeys Sister’!
Q – What would you like to ask Stolen Thunder?
A – Which piece of Stolen Thunder jewellery are you most proud of?
Think it might be our wonderful gold wishbone ring, as seen on Pixie Lott, Fearne Cotton etc etc!
